GXflow 8.0
GXflow 8.0 features a new set of important functionalities resulting both from experience gained over the years and from user requirements.

Main Benefits

Process Versioning
GXflow 8.0 supports process definition versioning. It allows you to change business processes by assigning a new version that can coexist with previous versions.
Document Management

The document management feature has become even more powerful. It used to be available only for Windows environments and has now been added to the Web interface, with support for several formats. Plus, you can set how the workflow engine will route these documents along the process tasks by defining a set of rules and actions.
The following document management applications have been included in the GXflow GUI:
Work with Documents
My Documents
Document Administrator

Events
In this new version, workflow events unify the different signals occurring in the workflow system. New signals have been added, as well as the possibility to set the level of detail (granularity) of the data to be audited. There’s also a new event handler, which allows you to execute customized code when events occur.

Other Features:
Charts: New charting component to view information.
E-mail tasks: Users can now execute tasks from their e-mail application.
Process Animation: This version allows you to view an animation of the process execution path. Plus, you may view specific information for each work item in this path, such as creation date, end date, user, etc.
GXPM Remote Impact: This tool impacts diagrams exported by GXPM.
Task Metadata: This feature allows you to define more information on process tasks. Metadata is created in GXPM and can be retrieved through workflow data types.
Workflow Data Types: New workflow data types have been introduced, and new features have been added to the already existing ones, mainly for document and event management.
